The University of Texas at Austin is huge––around 50,000 students enrolled at any time. And so, as you can imagine, its Recreational Sports division (Rec Sports) needed more than just an online brochure. It needed a content-rich website that worked for students, staff, and faculty.
Above all else, the site would need to make taking advantage of Rec Sports' countless resources simple. But also, the new site needed to strike a balance between discovery––i.e., learning about RecSports’ offerings––and task completion––e.g., reserving a baseball field, signing up for a spin class, etc.
The re-imagined site would also be mobile-responsive, optimized for search, and visually engaging.
TradeMark Media partnered with the Division of Recreational Sports to design, build, and launch a beautiful, powerful, and content-rich site. Based on a deep discovery phase, we architected a site that allows users to get the info they need while also encountering important news and events. The site is responsive to all devices, is optimized for search engines, and is integrated with an intuitive CMS.
