Anne Durrum Creative Initiative Award Winner: Rachel Clemens
The Anne Durrum Creative Initiative award, given only once per year, "honors a professional communicator who has shown inventiveness, dedication, and creativity. It recognizes someone who has taken a project or idea and seen it to fruition in a new or especially successful way."
In their selection of Rachel Clemens as the 2015 receipient, the Women Communicators of Austin wrote:
Changing a brand’s perception, generating local pride, and mobilizing a community are no small tasks. But for Rachel Clemens, making an impact in the community through creative work is part of the job.
Specifically, the award was for the work Rachel did for United Way for Greater Austin's fundraising campaign, which you can see here.Read the WCA interview with Rachel Clemens
