Founder, President, & Strategy Director
Nick Weynand is TradeMark Media's founder, president, and strategy director.
Over the course of 17 years, Nick has grown his once-humble, dorm-room operation into the fastest-growing Web agency in Texas (Inc. 5000, 2016). Now, more than 25 expert Web designers, developers, marketers, and project managers produce world-class websites and applications from TradeMark’s headquarters in east Austin.
Nick regularly consults with enterprise businesses and large organizations––from Fortune 500 companies to global nonprofits and state agencies. Over the course of his career, Nick has provided digital strategy, design, and development services to more than 600 Web projects.
Admired for his unflappable commitment to his clients’ success––and his sharp insights into the worlds of Web design and development––Nick is often tapped to share his hard-earned wisdom across the industry.
He believes TradeMark has an obligation to make the Internet a better place by helping its clients solve problems. And, just as importantly, Nick is dedicated to the professional and personal growth of the TradeMark team.
Nick spends his free time with his family––his wife, Courtney; his two children, Eisley and Everett; and their dog, Heidi. When not cooking, reading, or playing with the kids outside, Nick is usually found volunteering for local nonprofit organizations.
Chief Operations Officer
With more than 20 years’ experience in strategy, design, development, and project management—spanning corporate, academic, nonprofit, and state government organizations—Andrea has seen everything the Web has to offer. Which is why she has worn several professional hats at TradeMark: Director of User Experience, then VP of User Experience, and now as our COO.
Andrea oversees TradeMark’s staff and daily operations and works with the executive team on business strategy and development. She’s the engine that makes the car go. She also lends her expertise at almost every phase of the project process—including client communication, strategy, architecture, design, and development.
Her free time is spent playing with her adorable kids, cycling, swimming, motorcycling, and catching up with friends over coffee. Andrea is a devoted mom to two silly dogs and two mischievious cats.
Chief Marketing Officer
Rachel is TradeMark’s Chief Marketing Officer.
After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Rachel worked as a graphic and Web designer in London, England; Brisbane, Australia; and at several advertising agencies in Austin.
In 2005, Rachel founded Creative Suitcase—a new agency—to help her clients tell their stories and engage their audiences by fusing smart strategy with killer creative. During her tenure as a business owner, in addition to tackling design challenges, Rachel found herself drawn to solving larger business challenges.
In 2016, Creative Suitcase merged with TradeMark Media and Rachel focused her efforts on marketing strategy and storytelling full-time. She’s responsible for client branding strategies—and sharing the passion, expertise, and dedication of the TradeMark team with the world.
After work, Rachel spends most of her time with her son and her husband, planning their next great adventure, whether local or half-the-world away. Sometimes their puggle, Buddy, gets to pal along.
VP of Technology
Stephen built his first website in 1999. And for a few years post-college, Stephen developed websites for Dell.
But then wanderlust struck and Stephen bought a one-way ticket to Spain—launching a six-year journey around the globe. In his time abroad, Stephen built international community service programs in Nicaragua, the British Virgin Islands, and on Native American reservations in Montana. He taught English in Spain. He was an adventure coordinator in Belize.
In all, Stephen has lived in, worked in, or visited 30 countries.
Back home in Austin, Stephen became a webmaster at The University of Texas at Austin before joining TradeMark Media in 2012. As a technical savant and savvy communicator, he’s the perfect person to direct the technology on which our clients build their digital identities.
When not building websites, Stephen loves spending time with his wife and kids, photography (in which he's highly accomplished), hiking the Greenbelt, and eating Thai food.
