the challenge
Taurus Pet Services is a true Austin original and they wanted a website that told their story and sold their unique services. Their current site had become dated, wasn’t dynamic or easy to update, and they weren’t getting the support they deserved from their current agency. Taurus needed a website that allowed potential customers to learn about their services, locations, and staff (“the pack”). They also wanted a website that was engaging, showed off their personality, and offered ongoing tips and resources to their clients.
the solution
TradeMark Media completed several discovery and site architecture sessions with Taurus staff to define site goals, user tasks, and site functionality. After discovery, site maps, and wireframes were completed, our visual designer went to work creating an eye-popping design that tells the Taurus story and gets potential clients excited about high quality dog care and training.
Our development team built the site on an easy-to-use content management system that allows Taurus staff to update content on the site including blog posts, a dog of the day feature, training tips and upcoming events. Our team also embedded streaming video throughout the site and utilized social media and an email subscription feature to allow customers to connect with Taurus on a deeper level. Finally, a user-friendly reservation request form was created that allowed current Taurus clients to book a spot online.
The site created by our team is attractive, dynamic, and easy to use. The client can update the site easily and distribute information to their customers in a meaningful way. As one Taurus “pack member” put it: “The site is amazing!” We’re pretty proud of it too.
