Case Study: Texas Association of Broadcasters

www.tab.org

The Challenge

The Texas Association of Broadcasters, the nation’s largest broadcast association, came to us with a problem: their current Web site was outdated and not very useful to members. It needed a new look and some dynamic features to make it relevant and appealing to TAB members.

The Process

Our staff created a Web site that features a searchable member directory, a job bank, a news and events page, and a resource section. Members can to log into the site to search the member directory and use the job bank, where employers are able to post job descriptions. Non-members can view job postings and post resumes without having to log in. Members also have access to a resources section, which includes a broadcast directory, legal guides, and information on legislative advocacy. Finally, TradeMark Media created a news and events section available to members and non-members that allows for unlimited news posts and a calendar of events, both of which are quick and easy for TAB administrators to update.

The Results

The Texas Association of Broadcasters now has an attractive site that is a valuable asset to their members. The Web site is easy for the administrators to update and keeps TAB members connected and informed.

What our clients are saying...

Texas Senator Kirk Watson

“What you guys did on kirkwatson.com — the quality of the work, and the incredibly ambitious timeline you were given to do it — was very nearly miraculous. The senator is impressed and grateful. And while you probably know how good a job you did, please also know that it's already making a difference: just today, someone at the Capitol (not on the senator's staff) referred to kirkwatson.com as part of a good, progressive argument regarding an important policy issue facing Texas. In time, such moments will make life better for a whole lot of people across this region and state. In the coming months, we all will work to make kirkwatson.com an even more exciting, innovative place for people to take on Texas' challenges. We can only guess where we'll end up. But, again, the effort is far less imposing because you all are part of it. Thanks again for your great work.”
