I was a good boy at this year’s SXSW conference. While some of my co-workers socialized the nights away, I headed out to some early events, won the people’s choice award with the team at the air interactive competition, or just went straight home to be fully rested for the next day. That said though, it doesn’t have to be late to socialize in full swing.

For my upcoming AMA Marketing Jam '09 presentation, I decided to break out of the PowerPoint box and use a Web app I discovered recently: SlideRocket. The idea is fantastic, it's an online way to create slides from within your Web browser. There's no software to install and you can "take" your presentation anywhere that has an Internet connection.

TradeMark Media President & Strategy Director Nick Weynand will be speaking at the upcoming AMA Marketing Jam '09. The title of the presentation is Stop Tweeting and Start Thinking: Developing your Interactive Marketing Strategy.

On Saturday, April 25th, several TMM staff members volunteered for the 2009 Recycling Challenge. The event was part of the Art City Austin festival with proceeds from the challenge benefiting several area non-profits. Our team won 2nd place and $500.00 for our chosen non-profit, EMANCIPE+!
